David Daniel Poetry

David Daniel regularly tours Universities and Colleges all over America bringing an insightful delivery to his powerful poetry that leaves audiences spell-bound and captures the soul of his words. Recent tours have included a trip to Whitworth University on Friday the 9th of April. David Daniel performed in the Robinson teaching Theatre in Weyerhaeuser Hall on the Whitworth Campus to students and faculty earning great reviews.

David Daniel also founded Wamfest which although not a tour is an unbelievable event for those with a love of words and music in general. In 2010 he persuaded the boss Bruce Springsteen to come and talk and sign a few songs. The event celebrates all that is great in both poetry music and has been held twice, once in 2009 and then in May 2010.

The latest event at the beginning of May in 2010 saw stars such as Bruce Springsteen, John Doe and Exene Cervenka (cofounders of LA punk band X) light up the stage. There were talks, workshops and discussions of poetry and music in this truly unique event. Other attractions were on the second day with Eugene Mirman best known for his work for HBO series Flight of the Conchords joining Wesley Stacey and Michael Showalter amongst others in a day celebrating the use of words in comedy and performances from the stars.

If you want to catch David Daniel performing live keep your eyes out for updates and book early as he has a passionate following. He is always looking to interact with students and deliver versions of his poems.
